Celtic manager Neil Lennon has revealed that star forward OdsonneEdouard is not leaving in January. There have been speculations that the 21-year-old is a transfer target of the likes of Lazio, Roma, Lyon, and Napoli.

When quizzed about the player, Lennon revealed that the star forward would not be sold in January despite if the club are in Europe or not.  Edouard has been a revelation in Scotland since joining from French side PSG.

His ability to work hard for the team and score vital goals are what makes Edouard one of the sought after young talent in football. Edouard has also been in brilliant form this season scoring goals and also netting nine goals in four games for the France u21 international.

Lennon believes that Edouard is a classy player and that the club is keen on holding onto the player until the end of the season. The Frenchman will be expected to lead the line in the Scottish Premiership encounter with Ross County.

The club are currently in the midst of injury problems with Ryan Christe suspended and Olivier Nicham.  Tom Rogic would be expected to feature as he is after he recovered from a longterm injury and Lennon is happy to see the Aussie back in action.

Lennon has been able to mix up attacking football with his conservative cultural methods. He took over from Brendan Rodgers last season and would be looking to have a successful second spell at Celtic.  This season appears to be another League title chase with rivals Rangers.

Rangers have been able to spend well since Steven Gerard took charge and are gunning for the league. However the might and depth of a club like Celtic make it easier to predict who wins the league.
